ok never in my life have i bought 3 shoes in one week....3 skate shoes.....well actually one was pre-owned. adil rarely worn his circa and i was in need of skate shoes and he needs a set of new wheels...so we did a trade, shoes with wheels and 20bucks, a great deal for both of us actually....i got a pair of circas for about $60 while he got a set of wheels plus abec7 bearings that would've probably cost him at least $60 in shops and on top of that $20 top up.
ok so i got myself a pair of shoes already but then....adil told me, quiksilver having a sale and DC shoes were going at 50% off. well, i tot id buy myself a pair to keep as spares as skateboarding really wears off ur shoes fast. so i bought myself a pair of josh kalis on thursday evening after school. it was the best skate shoe i had so far and it was 50% of its original price. a great shoe for just $84.90 is a great deal! i wore it the next day to school...
i wanted to get another pair....just for spares but i didnt have the money, pays not in yet....and then the conversation with man-black brought in the dough i needed...we were talking about life and i told him, i just started skating again a few months back and turns out he wanted to skate too and he needs a new set up....wooohoo....i sold my zero wheels to him. and so i got enough money for another pair of DCs....ended up going to pacific plaza with mann-black and we ended up buying the same model...hurhur
so there goes my third shoe....
i followed mann to collect his deck after that...skated awhile at the void deck before heading home....im happy as a hippy, 3 shoes and 1 more skate fren! wats more, he lives in woodlands, not far away and that means i can skate with him if everyone else is busy. i also envy mann, because his wife is so understanding....she let him race RCs once....and now skate....coolness....

Im in a hurry to go for 8am lessons but i just have to let out the news before i leave for school! Anew skate park is on the way, come 2008. I just gotta learn to drop in or skating bowl will just remain a dream. Early 2008 will be a dream come true if i manage to overcome my fear of dropping in.......cheerios....drool boys....and shahreil, this is a good excuse to start skating next year! hurhurhur...remember this, 'never too young to start, never to old to skate'

anyways i occupied my later half of sunday playing around with the mini-tech deck i found unopened in my toy box.....but i suck at it...and am really tempted to get the 96mm one on ebay........the videos on youtube made me nuts and i wanted to learn to do those tricks......hahahaha...

when i took up the offer to help shahreil shoot the wedding video about a month ago, i didnt feel worried or anything, in fact i thought itll be easy.....but as the day approaches....im nervous and worried....i mean its a wedding video, not skate video, not for fun birthday video or anything else....its a once in a life-time kinda thingy for the couple......hmmm well, id give my best and itll be my first job shooting wedding videos....i hope everything goes well and perhaps i could do more if im comfortable with it....wish me luck!

skate session hours ago...probably my last for these few monts to come, no more free time except weekends, too much projects, assesments and coursework.
it was great just now, accomplished something new.....halfcab....though at slow speed, it was satisfying....my ollie was more consistent and so was my shuv it....only upset, was the drop in....i tried once, sprained my shoulders and the phobia sits in... urrgghh...ill be back....i hope next week i can skate but i know i couldnt....ill be back definitely but not so soon...ouh one more great thing, the lights at the skatepark were on and it was great.....i hope they keep it that way, let it on at least until 3am...i got this goals to achieve.....a clean 50-50...higher halfcab and more courage....hurhurhurhur.....no pain no gain homie....

skate sessions
it was the usual skate session yest......got a new pal to join us, sheikh. it was great yest, except that we were a little uncomfortable at first, skating with someone whos good but it was fine...... nothing special happened yest, except i almost pulled off a fifty2 clean, i wasnt really all out yest, dunno why, probably tired but overall a-ok, except the security had to come out before we warmed up enough to try that grass gap.....damn...anyway next time, i hope we can skate without disturbances...
my schedules were being changed for next week...and sad nuff, i have no oppurtunity to skate nights....damn...i have to find a pal who can skate with me weekends day-time. wonder who yeah......and where...thats the thing....i dont wanna skate where theres many others and it becomes more of a 'jemputan' kinda thing....hahaha

my intention of leaving home was to meet sheikh and come to an agreement of what he was going to give me for maintaining skateboarding.sg's blog and myspace. initially he promised, a t-shirt and 10% discount at his store...i wanted to ask for monthly basis, not much right? but sheikh was a little late and i had to move off.
sheikh have a couple of cool stuffs...but not to my liking...probably its catered to the new skool skaters....
anyways, i roamed off to times marina square, in search of any skatemag that featured go-skateboarding day 07 but they had none, just like at Jelita's times....ugggh....its either sold out or the management refuse to order skatemags...watever it is, i think they are losing out to borders....but the reason i went there cos i have 15bucks voucher....i wondered around to a couple of surf shops, nice new era DC but whooping price tag...99bucks for a cap, its nice but im not yet a fan of new era, so better get myself some lower end first, see if i like wearing NEs.....town sucked, crowded and not much things to my liking, the DC jeans had 30% off which meant i had to pay ard 80bucks but the logo suck...it make one look like some matreps wearing those evisu jeans bought at bugis village....
so i roamed off...forgeting that my petrol had already ran low....i had no choice but to exit at queensway(bedek!) i pumped petrol at esso before heading home(bedek again!) when i saw queensway and decided to make a stop....i went to miz29 tried NEs but none to my liking except the yokohama, kinda cool...so i told the salesperson, 'bro, aku gi atas dulu ar ngok2..' i tried on the same cap, that the hip-hop teddy bear recommend....felt funny, felt fake....so i went down again....this time to limited store and saw these kool nike sb tees....but my belly proudly made its appearance on the size L t-shirt....not sexy, really not sexy....'ummm miss, got any XLs?' .....nope they dont have...and i tot to myself Nike is an american brand why cant i fit into Ls? its either ive grown or the t-shirt's fake....muakakak takmo tuduh2 ar....then i made my trip back to miz29..... finally the bro, took out all designs he could find, even those hidden in the cupboards......and i ended up purchasing my first new era, a stussy new era....coolness, i like....65bucks off my pockets but i like....it said 75 on the tag but i bargained...
my 'adventure' did not stop there....i limped as i jaywalked quickly across the road, i tot to myself this is bad....monday's skool starting and i hate everyone asking me what happen....anyways....started my bike, big grin on my face....i was about to go home, instead of a left turn to AYE, i accidentally u-turned(bedek again!) i ended up at go-sports, i dunno how....and i ended up getting a lakai t-shirt which again i bargained down from 39.90 to 38bucks......ok thats it i said to myself no more accidental turns....so i went to the bike shop finally to change the engine oil and filter....i went to the one at bukit batok cos i was lazy to ride to kallang.....the auntie...wahlau wear so sexy....serious, she everytime wear sexy but today sexy less slutty... muakakakaka....again i bargained....from 33 to 32bucks and she gave me a packet of drink....ok.....woots...thats like 31.50 in total hehehe....
so here i am, home, sweaty, in my boxers, messaging my potential buyers on the forum....turns out to be ratnor....an ol-skool skater.....woots...another skate fren....coolness....and because i know him, i gave him a discount...40bucks instead of 42.....enjoy ur speed metals ratnor....and tuesday i hope u can make it....and skate with us...

i slept at ard 6am after suboh......but i woke up before 9am.....i forced myself to sleep.....but i just couldnt....i know my eyes are tired...but somehow my mind wants me awake.....ugggh.....i look in the mirror...hmm no real visible dark rings....so does the aloe below the eye every night really works? i think so....

lazy bug sets in today.....probably cos of the two scabs on my knees....heheheh but tts just an excuse....i have sores all over serious...hehehe....probably i push myself too hard....gonna start reading on bio pretty soon....neuro next semester is pretty scary but can get pretty interesting....im not selling anything yet....i hope to sell something soon....its just extra income... and i cant wait for that bearings to arrive and ill be pampering myself with a new cap from NEW ERA!....heheh dunno wat size and which one to get yet....but i think ill get that black DC....heh....
