Firstly, pay increment within a week at sixth avenue...then came the salary offer that exceeded marginally with my expectation....now another opportunity to make some extra cash. Alhamdullilah, although I can say, I'm not a perfect or good muslim but thank God, I know HE is helping me. Could my dream of owning my own flat be realised sooner than I imagine? What next? Well, I wanna work hard for my degree cos while waiting for that promotion and a chance at advance diploma in 2 years, I'll have all the opportunity to find out more about the degree and a chance of adding 400bucks more to my paycheck monthly....the thing is WHO. I know I'll meet the WHO, whom will guide and give me information....... I just know....
Today I met my other officer, my NM(nurse manager). He's a little intimidating but being thru all kinds of stuff, I was fine conversing with him. One thing I am glad with working at 72 is the staffs are all male, theres VERY LITTLE politics compared to the general wards where females made the majority, I am not being sexist here but its just my experience, thats all.
My preceptor wasn't as bad as I assume he'd be(because of his reaction on day 1). He's fine after all, although there's some negativity, just some....but hey, I can work with him. You see, being a newbie in anywhere is all about adapting, I'm talking bout anywhere, not only your workplace, your new circle of friends. But that doesn't mean you let them step on you. You adapt but you show as well, you're not just another nail on that wooden block waiting to be hit on. You are alive.
Tomorrow as always I am going to discover stuffs on my own cos' as usual I don't enjoy the ridicule, criticisms and negativity I get. I always go discover things with an open mind, analyse and then all the negativity can come in if theres justification to do so. Else, even if I reject, I let it be.
I'm missing Sherry, she's a fun pal to hang out with but I guess she's busy with her new job. :)
Saturday, first jamming session after donkey years, meet up with the supermoto boys and probably meeting Ain.....jammed packed weekend.....Sunday, pay Bird's mom a visit and Rashid's engagement......woots I'm occupied....
I can't wait for payday, wanna bring out mom for makan....any suggestions?
wats next?
